사진에 있는 꽃이름은 foxglove 라고 합니다. 빡스 (Fox) 는 여우나 쌕시한 여자라는 뜻이고 그로브(Glove) 는 장갑 입니다.
꽃하나씩 하나씩 손가락 마다 장갑처럼 끼우고 싶어서 그런 이름이 붙었나 봅니다.
야생화이지만 너무 예뻐서 정원에 심기도 합니다.
이 식물을 띁어다 잡술 분은 없겠지만, 식물 전체가 digitalis 라는 독이 있읍니다.
Foxglove 를 채소밭에 심으면 독이 있는 꽃가루가 바람에 날려서 채소의 꽃술에 달라 붙을 경우, 예를 들면
호박, 가지, 고추, 토마토, 수박, 참외 같은, 꽃이 열매가되는 채소는 Foxglove 의 독성 때문에 먹으면 좋지 않읍니다.

The pollen contains up to 80% digitalis and this pollen can be found on neighboring plants stamens when they are in bloom. This effect can cause accidental digitalis exposure if the exposed stamens of other plants are consumed in any way by humans. During the peak pollen production, in some areas the pollen floats heavily in the air and will stick to exposed surfaces.
